The St. James Electoral Division
The St. James electoral division will expand its boundaries for the 2018 Provincial Election. The new boundaries no longer include the Silver Heights neighbourhood west of Mount Royal Rd, or the Birchwood neighbourhood west of Conway St, both of which are now part of the Kirkfield Park electoral division. The north-east corner has expanded to include all of the St. James Industrial neighbourhood, formerly part of the Tyndall Park electoral division. The eastern border is expanding three streets over from Valour Rd to Erin St, which was previously part of the former Minto electoral division.
The population of the St. James electoral division, according to the 2016 Census, was 20,990 residents.
