Cindy Lamoureux - Tyndall Park
1. Why did you decide to run in the Manitoba election?
I watched my father serve the community of Inkster as an MLA growing up. I know it is a privilege to serve as a politician and I grew up in wanting to follow in his footsteps. I also believe passionately about the need to improve our society and government. We have many serious to address in healthcare.
2. Why should a voter consider electing you to represent them?
I am passionate about serving my community. I grew up in Burrows and went to school here. I am open to new ideas and willing to work hard to bring them into reality. I also believe that it is my responsibility, as an elected official, to reach out to constituents and get them involved in our community. The strong our community the better we all do.
3. What key issue(s) / topic(s) will you stand for in your role as MLA, and why are these important to you?
As an MLA in Burrows I worked hard to reach our to seniors and youth. I believe both groups need more support and I opened my office and gave my time to raise the issues important to these groups. In Burrows I want to continue this work.
