The The Pas - Kameesak Electoral Division
The former electoral division of The Pas has been replaced by the new electoral division of The Pas - Kameesak, which will have some boundary changes to the south and to the east in the 2018 Provincial Election. The new boundaries no longer include Norway House, Kinusisipi, Crooked Turn, Rossville, Neketawak, Warren Landing, The Elbow, Whiskey Jack Landing, Jenpeg, Cross Lake, or Dunlop, all of which are now part of the Flin Flon electoral division. It also no longer includes Wetikoweskwattam, Kapeeseewinik, or Askikkapit,which have moved to the Kewatinook electoral division.
The new boundaries now extend south to include Overflowing River, Chemawawin Cree Nation, Easterville, Grand Rapids, Dauphin River, and include the Lake Winnipeg north basin and the Interlake region as far south as Paguis and east of Highway 6.
The population of The Pas-Kameesak electoral division, according to the 2016 Census, was 20,910 residents.
