RAYSHARD BROOKSBrooks, a 27-year-old Black man, fell asleep in his car in the drive-thru lane of a Wendy's restaurant in Atlanta in June 2020. MANUEL ELLISEllis, a 33-year-old Black man, died March 3, 2020 after he pleaded for breath under an officer's knee in Tacoma, Washington.
