The Keewatinook Electoral Division
The Kewatinook electoral division will have some changes in the 2018 Provincial Election. The new boundaries are somewhat smaller, now excluding all land to the north of the Nelson River, which is now part of the Thompson electoral division.The southern portion of the boundaries extends west and south. It now includes Oxford House, Bunibonibee Cree Nation, Pakitahokansik, Askikkapit, Kapeeseewinik, and Wetikoweskwattam to the west, and Seymourville, Manigotagan, Black River First Nation, Bissett, Wallace Lake, Caribou Landing, Long Lake, Slate Lake, Little Black River, and Fort Alexander, to the south.
The population of the Keewatinook electoral division, according to the 2016 Census, was 20,815 residents.
