The Assiniboia Electoral Division
The Assiniboia electoral division will reduce in size for the 2018 Provincial Election. The new boundaries no longer include the Jameswood neighbourhood or any of the airport, which has moved to the St. James electoral division. The boundaries now include the portions of the Sturgeon Creek and Heritage Park neighbourhoods south of Ness Ave, north of Portage Ave, east of Parkdale St, and west of Sturgeon Rd, all of which was previously in the Kirkfield Park electoral division.
The population of the Assiniboia electoral division, according to the 2016 Census, was 22,840 residents.
