2019 Manitoba Election

Michael Bazak - Roblin

1. Why did you decide to run in the Manitoba election?

I think Manitoba can do better than Brian Pallister and Wab Kinew as their Premier and I saw an opportunity to run independently under the Manitoba Liberal banner. More Manitoba Liberals elected means a minority government and more accountability.

2. Why should a voter consider electing you to represent them?

I am honest, educated and will prioritize constituents over party. I have supported all three major parties and have voted for the policies of the day and against the arrogance that tends to befall majority governments. I will vote for policies that offer incremental improvement to the constituents of Roblin.

3. What key issue(s) / topic(s) will you stand for in your role as MLA, and why are these important to you?

I am passionate about healthcare, education and the economy. One cannot work unless healthy, have their children move up the socioeconomic ladder without a strong education, and a strong vibrant economy is essential to create a surplus of jobs.

4. Do you have any other comments regarding your candidacy?

I will prioritize the interests of my constituents over party on each and every vote. I am not looking for a lifelong career in politics but rather a short tenure that allows me to engage constituents and enact policies that improve their lives.
