Questionnaire Response
Dashi Zargani - Waverley
1. Why did you decide to run in the Manitoba election?
I am running because I care deeply about our community in Waverley and Manitoba. The PC government has thrown our healthcare, K – 12, and post-secondary education systems into chaos. They had cancelled the two schools and personal home care that supposed to be built in 2016 in Bridgewater Neighbourhood. As a resident of the community since 2010, I believe that we were underrepresented on Broadway.
2. Why should a voter consider electing you to represent them?
I am the only candidate living in constituency of Waverley since 2010. I have extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. I have the appropriate education, skills, and experience to confidently represent the residents of Waverley in the legislature. My family and I know exactly the issues that we are facing in Waverley. I believe strongly that I am the best to represent my community and speak for all issues that affect our families in Waverley.
3. What key issue(s) / topic(s) will you stand for in your role as MLA, and why are these important to you?
I believe that the most concerns for voters in Waverley are local public school, childcare spaces in our community, Health care for all us, and local representation on Broadway.
4. Do you have any other comments regarding your candidacy?
I am ready to give back to our community and help build a progressive yet inclusive society. Together we will work hard, we will help to build a better future for Manitoba, with focus on Waverley Constituency. Together we can stop the PCs from further damaging our province. On September 10, vote NDP.
